Caterpillar Class

The Caterpillar Class is a multiage class for students who turn 3+ before Aug 1 of the current school year and who are potty trained.  Caterpillars attend Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 until 11:30.  In this class, learning is student-led and play-based, guided by a curriculum that includes exposure to letters, numbers, and fine motor skills and emphasizes independence, social, and emotional growth alongside developing curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning. Students leave the Caterpillar class with a school foundation that prepares them for either an additional year of preschool or for Kindergarten.

Butterfly Class

The Butterfly Class is for students who turn 4 before Aug 1 of the current school year.  Butterflies attend Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 until noon.  In this class, learning is still student-led and play-based. The curriculum builds on the foundation of skills introduced during the Caterpillar year and includes an additional level of exposure to pre-academic skills. From letter sounds and counting to science experiments and more in-depth social skills like cooperation and team work, students leave the Butterfly Class ready to succeed in all aspects of Kindergarten.
